When a Sonic Drive In Franchisee who operated six stores in a major metropolitan wanted to retire, we were engaged to maximize the value of their business and real estate. The sale and leaseback of the six properties yielded more proceeds for the franchisee then previous offers for the entire company. Once the sale leaseback was complete, the franchisee subsequently sold his business operations at a more attractive multiple than previously received for both the real estate and business.
